Epproach Communications Partners with Smartphone App Company, Communiqué
WILMINGTON, NC – October 15, 2015 —Epproach Communications, the leading provider of network and WiFi services for multi-family housing, announced a partnership with Communiqué, the leading provider of mobile communications for property management, to develop an integrated WiFi user management system. The system incorporates the Communiqué smartphone app’s messaging, texting and email capability into a new WiFi user management platform. The combination of Epproach’s WiFi solution and Communiqué’s state-of-the-art smartphone app and messaging tools will provide multi-family property managers with the most advanced user and communication solution available on the market today.
Communiqué is the leading mobile communication solution for multi-family property management. It provides the ability for a property manager to send push notifications, text messages and emails to all residents–or to a specific resident–from either a web-based dashboard or their smartphone app. All of the residents’ contact information is housed within the Communiqué system and only authorized residents are able to activate the smartphone app and login. “This authentication process is necessary and very similar to what our WiFi customers and users have to go through at the apartment communities we serve,” Marty Hollingsworth, CEO of Epproach Communications, said. “It’s essential that property management is able to effectively communicate with their residents that are using the WiFi. By working with Communiqué, we can integrate the user database and authentication features, thereby giving our users a state-of-the-art mobile communication system. It’s easier for management, and residents love it because they get essential information and messages right on their smart phones.”
Communiqué is also delivered as a white-labeled solution, allowing property owners or management to brand the smartphone app as their own resident communication app. When a new resident moves into the community, he or she can go to the Apple App or Google Play stores and search for their apartment’s very own, branded app. The integration to the community WiFi user management allows the apartment community to extend their brand across multiple platforms. Several unique features will be included, such as a one-button option on the mobile app to contact Epproach WiFi support, and the ability for Epproach to send push notifications to the users if there’s information the resident needs to know about their WiFi service. Residents will log onto both the messaging platform and WiFi systems via a single branded user interface, delivering a more streamlined and easier user experience. Property managers will no longer need to manage two user databases and they’ll have the ability to easily communicate with their residents. Simple, effective communication for all involved.
Tim Litchfield, who served as a property manager for 10 years, is Product Manager for Communiqué. “When I worked as a property manager, there was always confusion with WiFi access,” Litchfield said. “The WiFi provider did not have access to the data we had, and we did not have access to the data they had. WiFi is becoming increasingly widespread, and this partnership makes it so much easier for property staff to manage it.”
